School Cross Country - 8th June 2022

NORWAY DAY May 2022 This year Norway Day was combined with the Viking Festival in Norsewood. After getting into their Scandi uniforms and a quick practice at school, the students walked across the road to Johanna's World. Here they sang the Norway national anthem while the flag was raised. The children then lead the parade down to the historic oak tree and then onto Matthews Park to the Viking Festival. The children performed a couple of Norwegian folk dances to an appreciative audience followed by a community dance where they got others to join in..
LIFE EDUCATION TRUST
Harold from Life Education has been in the school this week. One of the highlights from this was a visit from "Big Harold" on Tuesday. The absolute joy on the kids' faces as they Jump Jammed with Harold was wonderful to see. Our Life Education facilitator Laura enriched our students understanding of big emotions and gave students strategies to deal with them.
