Our senior class spent the morning at the Norsewood Cenotaph.
Students dressed up in old fashioned attire and spent the day doing activities and games that our Settlers would have done. Below are photos we took and made to look like Settler photos.
Manawatu River Tree Planting
30 July 2020 All students went and planted trees along the Manawatu River at Te Miro Farm owned by Blair and Penelope Drysdale. We were joined by representatives from Horizions Regional Council and Arapera from Te Kaura Hapu Collective. Our students learned about the types of Natives that we were planting, and why we were planting them. Everyone had a fantastic day and all of our students were engaged and participated in all aspects of the day.
